Secret non-Scenario Project: 0
That means that there are three scenarios left to play-test (plus the secret non-Scenario project) or 5 playtests. My hope is to be done with these in the next six months.
As for the Chataldja play-test, like the first one it ended in Draw. Mehmet helped in the first day of battle by commanding the Ottoman defenders while I took command of the Bulgarian attackers. In the first play-test I decided to mass on an attack on the north flank of the ottoman position which netted the Bulgarians a draw via Ileri Tabiya. In the 2nd playtest I decided to focus on the south flank.
Bulgarian moves (Yellow first playtest, Red second playtest)
The Bulgarian were able to take two forts, and this attain a victory, before a desperate Ottoman counterattack took back one fort and made the final result a draw. So the Bulgarians can win but they will need to focus on one of the two flanks, sacrifice many units, and have some luck. Here are some pictures from the 2nd Playtest.
